Šajā iknedēļas rakstā iekļūst trīs grāmatu vāku bildes, kuras man šķitušas interesantas un foršas jeb spridzīgas, vai vienkārši neparastas. Ideja radās aplūkojot LE BELLE blogu.
Will Thomas – The Limehouse Text (Barker &Llewelyn #3)
Tera Lynn Childs, Tracy Deebs – Powerless (The Hero Agenda #1)
Edited by Philip Van Doren Stern – The Pocket Book of Ghost Stories
Grāmatas apraksts no Goodreads/Synopsis from Goodreads:
Investigating a plane crash in the Smoky Mountains in North Carolina, forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan discovers in a most disturbing way that the evidence doesn’t add up. Tripping over a coyote-chewed leg at the crash scene, she performs a little mental arithmetic and realizes that this victim wasn’t on the plane. Once again, Brennan’s high-tech DMORT snaps into action faster than you can say “Disaster Mortuary Operational Response Team.” The author of Death du Jour serves up another exquisite meal.

He finally ran for the president when it was much too late, but the old man in the white helmet with the cold clever boyish grin still found what he wanted whenever he reached into his pocket.
George Packer – The Unwinding: Thirty Years of American Decline

After winning the most dangerous case of his career, prosecutor Penn Cage decides to remain in his Southern hometown to raise his young daughter in a safe haven. But nowhere is truly safe — not from long-buried secrets, or murder….When the nude body of prep school student Kate Townsend is found near the Mississippi River, Penn’s best friend, Drew Elliott, is desperate for his counsel. An esteemed family physician, Drew makes a shocking confession that could put him on death row.
