The saga of Yorick Brown, the last man on Earth, continues in PAPER DOLLS, writer Brian K. Vaughan and artist Pia Guerra’s award-winning VERTIGO series. Feast – Daily Prompt

Aša ideja pirms vēl diena cauri pirmo reizi izmēģināt roku viena vārda Daily Prompt. Kas zin, varbūt šādi mazie raksti ik pa laikam varētu kļūt par ierastāku lietu. : )

**************

Vispirms sāksim, kā grāmatu blogā pienākas.

No grāmatām ar vārdu ‘’Feast’’ tās nosaukumā lasīts:

Mans pirmais raksts blogā :D

Tālāk, ievadot vārdu Twitter meklētājā attiecīgajā mirklī uzmanību piesaistīja (3):

Kaut kas radošs no paša:

Falšais stars

Ežiem sanāk

Autgan labāk

Smaidījuši būtu nekā

Trušus tagad ķertu

Un beigās muzikālam noslēgumam albums – Feast or Famine by Reef The Lost Cauze

Grāmatas apraksts no Goodreads/Synopsis from Goodreads:

In this post-apocalytpic sci-fi story, humanity has been devastated by the bizarre, giant humanoids known as the Titans. Little is known about where they came from or why they are bent on consuming mankind. Seemingly unintelligent, they have roamed the world for years, killing everyone they see. For the past century, what’s left of man has hidden in a giant, three-walled city. People believe their 100-meter-high walls will protect them from the Titans, but the sudden appearance of an immense Titan is about to change everything.

Noelle Stevenson – Nimona

1

Grāmatas apraksts no Goodreads/Synopsis from Goodreads:

The graphic novel debut from rising star Noelle Stevenson, based on her beloved and critically acclaimed web comic, which Slate awarded its Cartoonist Studio Prize, calling it “a deadpan epic.”

Nemeses! Dragons! Science! Symbolism! All these and more await in this brilliantly subversive, sharply irreverent epic from Noelle Stevenson. Featuring an exclusive epilogue not seen in the web comic, along with bonus conceptual sketches and revised pages throughout, this gorgeous full-color graphic novel is perfect for the legions of fans of the web comic and is sure to win Noelle many new ones.

Nimona is an impulsive young shapeshifter with a knack for villainy. Lord Ballister Blackheart is a villain with a vendetta. As sidekick and supervillain, Nimona and Lord Blackheart are about to wreak some serious havoc. Their mission: prove to the kingdom that Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin and his buddies at the Institution of Law Enforcement and Heroics aren’t the heroes everyone thinks they are.

But as small acts of mischief escalate into a vicious battle, Lord Blackheart realizes that Nimona’s powers are as murky and mysterious as her past. And her unpredictable wild side might be more dangerous than he is willing to admit.

Unfortunately, that source is within Ampersand’s body, which was last seen disappearing under the arm of a mysterious Japanese mercenary. Grāmatas apraksts no Goodreads/Synopsis from Goodreads:

Comment Challenge 2016: August Sign Up Post

bnnr-commentchallenge-500

Comment Challenge rīko Alicia @ A Kernel of Nonsense and Lonna @ FLYLēF!
