Lai piekrastes iemītniekus pārņemtu viegls nemiers un panika, pietiek vien ar nezināmas avīzes lapeli, kas vēsta par nevienam līdz tam nezināma zemūdens vulkāna drīzumā gaidāmu izvirdumu, un ar vienu no divu Lamzaku pazušanu (baumo, ka Naktene pa nakts tumsu aizvilinājusi prom).

Jau no mazotnes visi ciltī jutuši, ka Billijs ir citādāks. Un viņa iesvētīšana vīra kārtā, pēc neparastām un pat dzīvībai bīstamām ķenguru medībām, pienākusi ātrāk kā domāts.
Patika ieskats aborigēnu kultūrā. Billija ceremonija ietver ne tikai īpašas dejas un rituālus, bet arī apgraizīšanu. Saistoši gan ceremonijas apraksti, gan netradicionālie (aborigēnu) dziedēšanas veidi Billija ievainojumiem.
Trešās sērijas grāmatas nosaukums ir Walkabout, un, cik saprotu, tas ir ne tikai ceļojums vienam pašam ārpus cilts un ciema, bet ietver arī sevis garīgu atrašanu pēc iesvētīšanas.
Otrā Urban Hunters grāmatiņa bija kopumā nopietnāka, un beigas, lai gan ar mazāk smiekliem, atkal satriecošas.
Even from early age everyone in the tribe could tell that Billy was different, and his initiation into manhood comes sooner than expected after very dangerous kangaroo hunting.
Liked the insight in aborigine culture. Billy’s ceremony includes not only special dances and rituals but also circumcision. Fascinating descriptions about the ceremony and untraditional healing methods to Billy’s injuries.
The third book’s title is Walkabout, and if understand correctly that is not only a journey alone outside your tribe and village but also is about finding your spiritual self after the initiation.
Tribal Scaring was overall more serious than the first boo, and the ending although with less laughter still was great!

Otrā grāmata par Draudzīgā meža iemītniekiem ar astoņiem stāstiem koncentrējas uz mazo ežu puiku. Kā jau aprakstā minēts, piedzīvojumi ezim netrūkst, un arī citi meža iemītnieki tajos pieliek savu roku. Turklāt viņš paspēj nosvinēt vairāk kā vienu dzimšanas dienu, protams, ja stāsti sarindoti hronoloģiski.
Patika ilustrācijas, kuras bija labākas un arī vairāk skaita ziņā, bet liels mīnuss, ka vairāki zīmējumi precīzi neattēloja stāstā notiekošajam.

Desmit jauki un reizē nedaudz izglītojoši stāsti, kuri domāti gan bērniem, gan pieaugušajiem, lai atsvaidzinātu atmiņu, kā tad mežā notiek, par Draudzīgā meža iemītniekiem, kur nevienam nav jābaidās no plēsējiem.
Katrā stāstā kāds interesants atgadījums ar vienu vai vairākiem dzīvniekiem. Zaķi sapņo par milzu kāpostiem un burkāniem, bet, ja pamostas un pie debesīm nav zvaigžņu, noteikti prātos kāpēc. Kā arī tas, ka dzīvniekiem mode ir nevis drēbes, bet mazgāšanas, un eži spēj reizē gan vingrot, gan mazgāt zobus. :)

Ja sākotnēji biju skeptisks par vēl vienu spiegu, tad izlasot nemaz nebija tik traki. Tātad galvenais varonis Džonnijs(Johnny Clunker) 15 gados jau ir superspiegs, turklāt ļoti augstās domās par sevi, un komandas darbā ne tik labs. Džonnija lielā misija ir iegūt superčipu, kas ir desmit reizes jaudīgāks par jebkuru citu. Turklāt, par ko būtu jāšaubās, spēj jebkur ielauzties un vēl sazin ko.
Viss nebūt nenorit, kā Džonnijam gribētos, turklāt bez lielā ienaidnieka ‘’United Order’’ uzrodas sabiedrotā un konkurente reizē Nensija(Nancy Korrins). Salīdzinot ar Džonniju daudz prātīgāka. Bet kā jau pie bērnu grāmatas, tad romantiskais attīstās ļoti lēni un pamazām.
Diemžēl viens mīnuss, ka notikumi tiek nedaudz sasteidzināti, kā arī superļaunā un spēcīgā organizācija ‘’United Order’’ tāda nemaz nešķta.

Negatīvais Neds un Negatīvā Nellija[Negative Ned & Negative Nelly] -> paliek spēcīgāki un izmēros lielāki, ja liek bērnam justies slikti. Pirmajā skolas dienā izraugās divus upurus – Hariju(Harry) un Salliju(Sally). Nedēļas garumā abi Negatīvie kārtīgi piestrādā, lai Harijs un Sallija jūstos negatīvi, un izaug līdz milzīgiem apmēriem. Mājās Harijs un Sallija no vecākiem saņem padomus, kā ar radušos situāciju, kuras drusku vienkāršotas, tikt galā. Gan Negatīvais Neds, gan Negatīvā Nellija samazinās līdz īkstīšu izmēriem un nespēj vairāk ietekmēt nedz Hariju, nedz arī Salliju.
Mērķauditorija noteikti ir aptuveni pirmskolas un pirmo klasīšu vecuma bērni.
